Munity on the Bus

Bus drivers fight back

On Friday 20th April, the City was brought grinding to a halt as hundreds of bus drivers took to the picket lines in a strike over wages, coincidentally on the same day as a rail accident. The strike crippled Norwich for an entire day, not only losing money for First Busses, but costing many businesses thousands of pounds, as potential customers could not travel into the city. The Great Commotion fully supports the actions of the bus drivers and thinks that the whole ordeal only goes to show that every worker should be treated with the utmost respect, for the workers in every line of work are essential for society to function.
